The simplest policy we can offer is the following: If we cannot fix it, we do not charge.

Our Service Policies

• When you bring your machine to our shop for repair, we accept it only on an as-is, where-is basis.  In other words, we make no claim to accept your word on the condition of the machine at intake.  Improper transportation of the machine, improper disassembly or accident with the machine in your possession are areas that we cannot know during intake.
• All repairs are handled as quickly as possible, and some machines will be finished before others.  If your machine takes additional time due to failures in testing after repair, this does not entitle you to a discount on the labor since there has been more labor invested.
• Machines left at our repair location for more than 15-days will accrue a $5.00 per day storage fee for a maximum of 30-days.  Machines left after 45-days, with no communication from you on a projected pick-up time will become the property of DataMax InterTech Corp.
• Hardware repairs have a 30-day warranty on workmanship.  The hardware itself will carry a warranty from the manufacturer and we will inform you at pick-up of the length and conditions of that warranty.
• Data recovery services make no claim for completeness of data retrieved.  Improper procedures before we begin can severely damage data on the storage media we are recovering and all contents of a file may or may not be in the retrieval set.

Persons opting for the Expedited Service will have their machine take priority in the repair queue, but the repair time needed for the repair may vary significantly from machine to machine.  A machine requiring a hard drive replacement and transfer of old data may be finished within 24-hours if there is no other damage to the existing hard drive.  Another machine with the same repair may, because of significant damage to the existing hard drive, take 72 or more hours to complete due to the length of time needed for the recovery utility to run.

Privacy Policy

No client information gathered by DataMax InterTech Corp., McCoy Advanced Digital, Inc., or any associated entity will be shared with any third party at any time unless those entities are legally compelled to do so by act of law, or in case of legal proceedings against those entities or a specific client or clients.
